The mission
The transparent studio, is a project that brings together design and science.
17 designers on a small studio work together to creat new and innovative lighting objects.

Prof. Ezri Tarazi and 17 of Bezalel Industrial Design's gratuates are taking part of this project.
The project is: 'enlightenment + Revelation = Light.
Enlightenment - signifies mankind's disengagement from the pretense of religious leaders to explain the world, replacing them with a systematic and rational method, called the scientific method.
Revelation - marks the awakening of perception, the new Spiritual, arose as a reaction to its failure of the Naorot' explain the fundamental questions of existence and meaning of life, emotional feelings and aesthetics that are surveying, and produces a parallel method of scientific method that is not dogmatic, but personally.
Lighting - a light source object, light fixture, lamp or lantern, who have within them the merger of the two paradoxical approaches together in one object.
The project's goal is to produce a collection of lighting fixtures that pull their inspiration from scientific research, technological innovation or a physical process / materials or mechanisms inspired by natural phenomena or contemporary scientific research.
In this blog we will share our thoughts, triales and sketches.
